Hi everyone, After a long silence in which we have not been able to inform you much about the future of Lineagedos, we have now made important decisions that we want to tell you about. Nine months have passed since the abrupt closure of Lineagedos. For those who do not know what happened then, we remember that the project was involved in a massive DDoS attack for weeks on both the dedicated server and the hosting of the lineagedos.com website. Despite giving everything we could at the time, these attacks opened security gaps that caused important bugs that were exploited by a good number of players without being reported and irremediably led to the server being shut down. In these nine months we have worked in three ways: 1. After several months of study and many tests, we can assure that we now have the necessary knowledge and means to protect our servers in the future. 2. As many of you know, we have worked on a parallel project called l2requiem.com It is an Interlude Remastered server with a more modern datapack that brings together all the content of Disruption of Silence (Lineagedos) as well as having H5 content such as improved pets, mounts, Fortalezas, capes, Agathions, Kamaloka, etc. This project is still in development. Although many months have already been dedicated, due to various factors beyond the control of the staff, it has been involved in continuous delays and at the moment we cannot offer an estimated opening date. 3. At no time have we abandoned the original Lineagedos project. During these months we have continued to work on solving all the bugs that many of you kindly took the time to report. We have also worked on optimizing and debugging the code to improve the gaming experience. Finally, we want to announce the reopening of Lineagedos. Safer, cleaner and more exciting than ever. We invite you to participate in the OBT that will begin on Friday March 21 at 20:00 GMT +1 and will remain in this state until the final opening is announced. Thank you to all for your patience, especially our veteran players. greetings
