"It could be said that Kebum is a sort of ambassador of the arboreals when it comes to dealing with non-elven races. In general, their fellows are hesitant to interact with the other intelligent races of the world. Only in rare situations does a contact take place in order to deal with a problem that concerns all of them.

It was thanks to Kebum that Mordrek was defeated hundreds of years ago. He wrote the song spell that has been playing inside Mordrek's head since that day, a mental illusion that keeps the monster from waking up. Among the arboreals, Kebum holds a few unique skills. The most unusual is the ability to spread his roots almost infinitely, being able to modify his environment, healing the earth of any disease or pouring into it strong poisons at will. Furthermore, it releases a pollen that, when it is in contact with other living beings, can modify their mental states.

Mordrek's awakening forced him to sprout in Kalanthia to help deal with it. He still does not understand how or who has broken the powerful spell placed by him."
